I love Wednesday's. I love this day because it is a 1/2 day for me at work and I can spend the rest of the day cozy at home in my scrap room!
This afternoon, I hit one of Bend, Oregon's HOT *new* scrapbooking stores called, "Scrapbooking Outside of the Box". I am such a kid "in a candy" store when I visit that store!! Suzie, the owner, always has boxes of new items ready to be added to the store's shelves. She keeps the store so stocked full of fabulous new "eye candy" that I am sure to spend more than I should with each visit. But, there truly is nothing better than a bag full of fresh new goodies to get the creativity flowing.
I also had an appointment this afternoon with my accupuncturist. What a sweet lady, I tell ya! I came in with a sore ankle and with one visit the pain was completely gone. So strange, I know, but I am a believer.
This practice of medicine referred to as "complimentary medicine" (other known as Alternative Medicine) really fasinates me. I love asking questions and finding out the root to all of the beliefs behind this type of medicine and how it all connects. I guess it is just my curious nature.
At any rate, I feel so good when I leave there..... >and<...in case you have never experienced an accupuncture treatment and are fearful of needles like I was... initially-----------I pinky swear that it does NOT hurt, what- so-ever. It is just so relaxing and helpful.
Well, wrapping this up, I would love to share a new layout I created last night. I've had this photo in my pile for a couple of months, and last night felt inspired to scrap it. Steve and I have had so much fun exploring our new home town of Bend, Oregon. There is just so much to see in Bend, with the beautiful snow capped mountains and breathtaking veiws at every glance. I truly feel like I live in paradise since moving here.
