Friday is always a good thing :)

It seems lately Fridays are my typical days to blog. I guess that works since I can do a week wrap up ;)

Saturday was a nice relaxing day. I worked on new designs for my Etsy shop and created a few custom orders. Pretty much a lax, in comfy clothes type of day.

Sunday was my Dad's birthday. We spent the day with him staring with breakfast (that we waited almost an hour and a half to get...another post) and then off to the pumpkin patch for some pumpkin (or "punkin" as my mom calls it and I have to correct her about each time..haha) Well, the zip line that my mom was so excited to glide down wasn't exactly what she had though...lol. It was teeny tiny, made for small children. (sniff) So, sadly she didn't get to do that. The patch was really cute, really centered around kiddo activities, but I really enjoyed watching them and getting a few pics. Here is part of our family with their pumpkins :)

Monday I worked at the LSS all day and came home and cooked a fab meal for Steve and I. Steak Diane. I'll post the recipe sometime, it's truly delish. Not something you want to obviously have often due to the high calories, but once in a while it's great :)

Tuesday was my day off and I worked on more Etsy orders and packaging. Pretty dull day. Not a lot to say about that day..lol.

Wednesday I worked half of the day at the LSS and came home and worked a bit more on my Etsy orders, glazed them and packed them up for the PO.

Thursday I woke up at 4 am and worked on another order. I created a really cute fall flower with lots of fun stitching and some buttons to match for a scrappy friend. About 8 am I was dragging and thought I'd lie down for a wee nap and OMG slept til 11:00 when my mom and dad called to invite me and Steve to lunch. After lunch I followed them around shoe and doggy shopping and introduced them to my beloved Jamba Juice...they agreed it was good ;)

Today, Friday, I worked until about 1 pm and came home to finish up laundry, and finish the new holiday buttons I will be listing in my shop over the weekend. They are pretty cute with traditional red and green with white accents. My buttons are usually about the size of a quarter, but I am going to start (with this collection for now) smaller dime-sized buttons. They are so adorable and mini....

So that's about it. I am just taking a break from folding some laundry. I think after this post I am going to go and pour a glass of wine and re-fresh my make up. In about an hour we are going to head to my parents house to carve the pumpkins we bought last weekend. Due to our long lunch fiasco, we ran out of time that day to carve them. After pumpkin carving, we are suppose to go to the "haunting" at our local fair grounds. Honestly, I am not digging this idea. I totally hate to be shocked or scared. I am afraid of my reaction....I don't want to punch the poor guy dressed as a mummy for jumping out at me. Ah, well....gotta be a sport. Wish me well...lol :)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend. I am hoping to create something scrappy over the weekend....I have a few things I am trying to finish that I will hang in my living room that go perfectly with our new decor. It's looking gorgeous so far :)

Again, have a great weekend!
