Scrapbook layouts, Valentines Card Kit, New Mini Frames and some really cute Buttons!

I had some free-time last night and got the itch to create a layout. I used one of my handmade frames from my Etsy shop for this layout. The frame is covered in ribbon and varnished to a glossy finish. It came with the large black flower and I added additional flowers and leaves just for fun. I adhered the frame with 3D Pop Dots and did the same with the photo. Lots of texture and dimension here! It looks much prettier in person.
Psst....yes, I did get ink on my face in the photo....hahaha. I just shrugged my shoulders and said, ah, well..... ;)

I spent a while this morning trying my best to get a decent photo of this layout but as you can see, I gave up and went with this one. Grr. :) I added the layout to a frame and the colors were a perfect match for a new pic to hang in my scrap room.

New kit for my shop!
*Valentine Card Kit*

I sold out of my last kit and thought it would be fun to put another kit together. I think I had more fun with the presentation part of the kit. I wanted to create a great kit to make Valentine's Day cards. There is a ton of stuff in there. And....it's so pretty :)

Here are some pics of the goods.

Lots of pink, red, chocolate brown, cream and white. Flowers, jewels, chipboard, paper galore, opalescent glittered hearts, brads, ribbons, felt, buttons, tags, okay....so there is a lot of stuff in there..haha.

The paper all bundled up with a peek of the embellishment box and ribbon card.

I made this embellishment box from a template and cute the scallops with my old fashioned scalloped scissors, then punched holes in the center of the scallop using a simple, small hole punch. To create the window, I used my 2 inch square punch. I adhered a clear transparency's to the inside of the box to provide a true-package feel and a window peeking into all of the goodies! This would be a perfect idea for a treat box for your parties or kids' class room or teacher. Leave me a comment if you would like the template. I could email it to you!

Your daily dose of "eye candy" calorie-free, fat-free and yes, carb-free.....
The "button factory" has been in full swing over the last couple of months. Lots of orders and custom orders for some really fun things. I've had a lot of fun creating these little pieces. This week I created a ton of custom logo buttons for a company in Switzerland.
Their logo was super cute and I think they turned out SO adorably.

These pics are of some of the buttons I made for my shop last week. Most of them have sold out, but I really loved them for the few days I got to peek at them in their packaging.

I've started creating multi-embellishment packs for my shop. That way the customer gets a variety of buttons and embellishments in a mono-chromatic color scheme. I know that I love organizing my supplies by color, so I thought this was a great idea.

These buttons were my favorite. In the set you got 12 assorted jade and aqua colored buttons in polka dots, stripes and flower shapes. I need to make myself a set, I think :)

My Neapolitan buttons have been a big hit over at my shop. I did the same color combinations for this set, but added a caramel color and some flower shaped button. This set is still available in my shop.

MINI Whimsy Frames I've been selling a lot of my 5x7 sized "whimsy" photo frames and had the idea last weekend to make them small.....like 2" perfect for framing small photos or monograms or simply another layer in your design. (for those of you who like lots of goods on your layouts..haha)
I also added some hand-made brads to my shop. This is a black and white embellishment set. I made the flower with black and white felt and used my "rock star" button for the center. Kinda funky and fun. I like it :)

Well, that's it folks! I hope you are having a great week and a have had a great start of the new year!

Off to scrap today, I will post more layouts sometime this week!
