Proud Sister Moment.......

My sister, Heidi.....I'm so proud of her. She has been impressing our family with her decadent recipes for cakes, cookies, pies, cupcakes and MORE. After insisting she start a blog, I am proud to say that she did!
I wanted her to have a place to share her drool-worthy creations....and also when feeling generous she would be kind enough to share a few recipes with us "wanna-be" bakers.

Check out her blog....drool......and get ready to have cravings for things that are not on your diet (like me) and let me know what you would like to see Heidi bake next! Leave your comments below and the winning recipe will win a Gift Certificate to my button shop!

I tried to leave a comment on your sister's blog, but I'm not sure that it went through... In any event, you were not exagerating! She's an artist with those cakes and cupcakes and yummy stuff! I wish I could make a cake like her Cars one!

Wow, her work is gorgeous, and looks delicious! I would love to see her do some little mini pies (tartlets?), like lemon meringue, pecan, raspberry...

I think some dark chocolate cupcakes infused with some rum and topped with a coconut (or maybe pina-colada?) frosting! :)

WOW!!! She does absolutely gorgeous looking work!! If it tastes anything like it looks - MMMMMM :)

I don't know what she should make next....Perhaps a barbie cake (like those ones where you stick the doll in it and the cake is the giant puffy southern bell type of skirt) or White Chocolate Macadamia nut cookies :D

Coconut maccarons, pumpkin whoopie pies(with cream cheese filling)
shoo-fly pie, almond pound cake, a chocolate cake with coffee added(I have it if interested, extremely moist and delicious!). All that she has made looks all ready decadent! You both are extremely talented!!! Great job, the both of you!

Her decorating skills are wonderful! Everything looks too good to eat! I would love to see some twists on classics.... like a twist on a chocolate cake, or a twist on a lemon cake. :) Something fun!

Looks so yummy! How about a fresh seasonal fruit tart... might be a bit more waistline friendly for those of us on diets. ;)

I have an awesome recipe for chocolate swirl cheesecake with choc. frosting & oreo crust. Its a huge hit for special occasions here. I would love to see her take on it and what amazing things she could do with the decorating. We LOVE cheesecake, but I am always at a loss on how to decorate it to make it special and not just a plain old cake.

Oh, WOW. I love the Cars themed cake, but the slumber party sleeping bag was SO creative! I'd love to see what she could with chocolate and strawberry together in something other than a cupcake. :-)
